I’m not good at bowling.
It is a fun game but I don’t go regularly so I never expect much when I go.
One time when I was growing up, my Dad joined us for a church field trip to a bowling alley. I don’t know if I had ever saw him bowl.
Strike.
Spare.
Another strike.
“Dad, I didn’t know you could bowl like that??”
He shrugged.
How’d you learn?
“Play it like you know it”.
…
Translation?
Be natural. Act as if you know how to bowl like a pro.
You have to know some basics. You’ll need to grow some more technical skills.
After that, it’s just consistency and practice.
But the belief always has to be there.
Next time you’re feeling uncomfortable about trying a new thing, Play It Like You Know it.

P.S.
Have you watched The Bear on Hulu?
It's a great show. Chelsey and I met in a restaurant. The writing, directing, and acting are top-notch and capture the rhythm and chaos that comes with it so well.
One of the key phrases in the first season is “Let it Rip”.

Encourage you to watch!
