Power Acronym 189: F.F.W.W.
Tomorrow starts tonight.
Said differently, today started the night before.
Today's Power Acronym is framework to use in the AM or PM to focus your mental and physical energy into the right actions.
John Grubbs shares this in his Wolf Sales Training method.
It's simple, but the results may surprise you.
In Atul Gawande’s book The Checklist Manifesto, he shares a surprising stat:
In a three-month experiment in eight different hospitals around the world, the rate of serious complications for surgical patients fell by 36 percent after introduction of the checklist, and deaths fell by 47 percent. Even Gawande himself, a highly trained surgeon with years of operating experience, found that his own performance improved notably after he started using the checklist. His point is that surgery, like any complex task, requires a regular check of all the fundamentals—to liberate the team to focus on the work and any unexpected circumstances that may arise.”
The power of a checklist saved lives.
This framework doesn't necessarily have life or death implications, but it's certainly as useful.

A successful tomorrow starts tonight
What are the finite tasks in front of you tomorrow that need your focus?
Write them down.
If they take less than 2 minutes, do them immediately.
If they take longer, block the time.
The long holiday weekend was a blessing.
Time to hit the list
