Today's initialism is courtesy of Dionne Noisette, one of the many dynamic leaders I had the opportunity to learn from at the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association today.
I have pages of notes and meaningful conversations and it's just day one.
She shared 5 “Be’s”, I missed one. If I can find out that +1 I'll add it.
Dionne tied all of her points about career development with wonderful stories of her family and gave rich examples for each.
I decided to write a short sentence to reinforce these ideas for myself while sharing them with you.
Everyone could use more “Be” time like these:
Power Acronym 162: B.B.B.B.
Be There and Be Engaged
With yourself, others, and life itself.
Be the “go to person” that can get things done
Those that can be trusted with small things can be trusted with bigger things.
Be the change you want to see
Timeless reminder that leadership starts with ourself.
Be curious and willing to learn new things
Growth doesn't happen by accident. Explore the unseen.
Be you.
