Today…I'm taking time to reflect on January and wanted to invite you to do the same.

What went well
I'm (1) counting myself blessed to have had 2 safe and super fun trips with Chelsey. We celebrated her 40th birthday in Las Vegas.
It was a truly epic trip made extra special joined by friends and family:
If Chelsey wasn't awesome enough, because she hit a specific sales goal in 2024, we just returned from the Project One Roofing company trip! This year was in Belize:
I was even able to get 7+ (fast 😅) miles in through the rainforest with some P1 leadership and a beach fun run with the Mrs.
Much needed because Austin Marathon (my first) is in 15 days! 😬
January has also been the busiest month for me since joining the Project One Roofing team 🙌, which is exciting because the projects that started last month should be completed in February.
What Needs Work
I have so much to be grateful for…❤️
…and there’s always room for growth.
So in thinking about “What Needs Work”, I'm excited to have more time in East Texas this month.
When it comes to Power Acronyms, I had fun creating B.I.G. and F.R.E.E., but those were recorded in December. I look forward to recording and sharing more audio and video content in February and beyond.
For those of you who’ve inquired about my podcast recently, thank you! I’ll be scheduling another conversation soon.
I've got a couple of Power Acronyms focused on Networking almost ready for publishing, so if you haven't yet, subscribe so you don't miss them.
Speaking of networking, in February I’m also focusing on launching & growing BNI Kilgore. Unofficially (for now) "World’s Richest BNI", we are currently at 13 members and need 11 more to officially launch and start holding in-person meetings every week.
Here’s the thing – this group has already generated tens of thousands of dollars in referral revenue, and it’s happening right now!

What will I do differently?
In addition to doubling down on what's working, I'm looking at how, when, and where I schedule deep work time blocks for specific goals like original content, BNI growth, and roofing projects I mentioned earlier.
I’ll also be altering my training plan post-marathon. I enjoy the recent increase in running volume as it has been beneficial for my physical and mental health, but I’ll get more clarity on my next target after the marathon.
I’ll continue to meditate and journal using the 1-2-3 practice throughout the weekend.
